The PB Tools extension for PyRevit has a number of easy to use tools for making your Revit life easier and this set of tools makes it easy to implement your firm’s standards in one of our templates by using the Replace Font and Rename Families tools to easily swap in your own preferred typeface and replace the PB prefix in family names with your own acronym or abbreviation.
Replace Font:
Replaces any font in the project
Renames any text types to match
Replaces fonts in loaded families and renames text types in those families to match project.
Rename Families:
Bulk rename families with simple find and replace.
Add or remove prefix/suffix
Automatically rename type names to match if the type includes the family name.
Save families to library
Save/Load configuration to use later.
Create Room Views:
Select rooms to generate elevation views
Choose whether to place views on sheets
Choose view templates and viewport types
Save/load configuration to use later
Export Rooms To SmartSheet
Select rooms and export Room Names/Numbers and area to specified SmartSheet.
Requires API key from SmartSheet, not provided by Practiced BIM.
View Template manager:
Transfer properties between View Templates.
