Template Comparison


Practiced offers two Revit Templates, Basic and Pro. Both templates contain everything you should need to get off to a great start with Revit: An organized project browser, annotations, line styles and fill patterns as well as basic walls, floors and ceilings.

The Pro template adds additional styles, samples of Practiced families and more advanced workflows like occupancy and egress and also includes multiple options for documenting your project using our Live Legend system.

We all know how important graphics are and how challenging it can be to make good looking drawings out of Revit. That’s why PB templates come with our custom lineweights, line styles/patterns and fill patterns. And because each firm has their own preferences for drawing graphics, the template isn’t loaded up with loads of View Templates and filters you won’t use, but does include a few to help you get started.

The templates come pre-loaded with system families - walls, floors, ceilings - so you can jump right in and get started. Samples of Practiced Door and opening families are included along with detail item families for framing, blocking, masonry, concrete and other standard details. The Pro Template also includes additional door families and more complex families for detailing sections, doors and wall assemblies.

PB templates come standard with ‘working’ schedules for everything from doors to grids so you can get an organized look at what’s in your model. The Pro Template takes this a step further and includes key schedules and sheet ready documentation schedules as well as

The Pro Template is set up to evaluate and document life safety information such as egress requirements and occupancy load calculations. And it is equipped with a collection of doors/openings, materials and walls on their own Live Legend phase so that they can be documented ‘live’ on type and schedule sheets.
